The bird bath de-icer keeps the water clear of ice here in cold NE. The birds love having fresh water by their feeders and we seem to have more of them when there is water for them to drink in the winter.

I was interested in a product that would keep my bird bath from freezing during cold months without spending a great deal of money. This bird bath de-icer has accomplished both. Our temperatures have been in the single digits with wind chills well below zero and to my pleasure this heater has kept the water flowing for my birds. Today as I looked out, several cardinals and chickadees were sharing a drink. I am very pleased, as usual with the quality and the price of this product and others that I have found on Amazon.com

I bought this to put in my chickens' nipple-style waterer for the winter. I wanted something that I knew would be safe around the birds. It is awesome - works like a charm every day. I don't have to mess with filling a traditional heated waterer upside down and then trying to tip it right side up out at the coop with my winter gloves on, thereby spilling water all over me (ask me how I know this scenario - lol). I just leave the set-up as it is, and every other day or so I come out with a plastic pitcher of water and just dump it in the top. The de-icer stays out there right in the waterer bucket and does its job with no fussing from me. Can't beat it.

Amazon.com is the best on line retailer I have ever dealt with. I ordered a high end plasma TV set and it came from PA to my door in TX in 3 days. The TV was in perfect condition and plays beautifully. The price was very reasonable and I am extremely satisfied.
